The Persistence of Vanishing Things (December edition)

It was so cold that one day my cable release just snapped in half but lord the beauty of this amazing landscape.

I could hear the breath of the lake as it headed against the shore, the crack of ice from far away.

We saw a mink, several eagles, and the foot prints of many tiny beings.
There was a deep silence that settled the mind… expanding consciousness.
Each visit to this the place is different.

I don’t feel I’m making landscape photographs per se, but rather portraits of the livings trees, the rocks all the beings which inhabit this magical place.
